Symphony Math® is based on groundbreaking cognitive research and developmental psychology. Using Symphony Math has been proven to increase students’ math ability by an average of 4 months, according to metrics established by the Education Endowment Foundation.

Raising the Bar District-Wide Using Symphony Math

In a study conducted district-wide during the 2018-19 school year, students in grades 1-4 who used Symphony Math showed significant gains on third-party assessments when compared to their peers who did not.

Title I Students Succeed Using Symphony Math

Use of Symphony Math at a Title I school during the 2016-17 school year contributed to dramatic growth on multiple third party measures, including state tests.

Use Equals Growth

An internal comparison from August 2014 to February 2015 shows that students who used Symphony Math five hours or more made far greater gains on the independent assessment when compared to students with no or low use.

Grade Three Students Close the Learning Gap 

Results of a study conducted during the 2009-2010 school year show how Symphony Math® closes the learning gap for math achievement. The year-long study with grade three students using Symphony Math resulted in statistically significant gains by students on 3 different math assessments in comparison to their peers.
